Restoration of the Heritage Lister Building, Hamilton, Ontario

We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen by the Liuna Local 837 Lister Property Corporation and Hi-Rise Group to work on the restoration of the 65,000 square foot Lister Block project in Hamilton, Ontario with Hidi Rae Consultants. In 1924, the original building burned down in a massive fire, and by the fall of that year, the present structure was erected.

This Classic Renaissance building housed small businesses, and incorporated Hamilton’s first indoor arcade… but has stood empty and derelict for almost 12 years. Symtech’s scope of work involves installation of an entire electrical infrastructure and systems including fire alarm, security system, new incoming 1200 amp service and installing approximately 2000 base building lights.
