Symtech Innovations Ltd. is excited to announce that we have been awarded the Design Assist Electrical contract for 500 Upper Wellington Street. This purpose-built rental development is a collaborative project among the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada, Fengate Asset Management, & The Hi-Rise Group, and is set to redefine modern living in Hamilton's Centremount neighbourhood.
The development will feature a 6-storey, new-generation residential & commercial building with 261 suites and over 6,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The site offers a vibrant and connected living experience, with future residents enjoying convenient access to downtown Hamilton and a range of onsite amenities carefully designed for their comfort. The building will pursue LEED designation, incorporating a variety of sustainability-focused features such as a green roof, geothermal heating & cooling systems, etc.
Plans also include integrated technology features enabling residents to manage their homes and access building services remotely.
Cooperating with The Hi-Rise Group, Ingenuity General Contracting, & MCW Consultants Ltd., Symtech looks forward to contributing to the construction of such a state-of-the-art residence, providing design assistance along with broad experience to improve constructability and achieve high efficiency & cost savings.
Symtech will install all electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, lighting controls, and fire alarms. Symtech will also plan, install, and commission communication systems, as well as a comprehensive security system covering all common areas, parking, elevators, and the building perimeter. In addition to electrical work, Symtech will handle all mechanical aspects, including plumbing, HVAC, and BAS.
