This 12-storey, 350,000 square foot state-of-the-art office building was chosen to be Aviva Canada’s new head office.
In 2015, the insurance company made the decision to move their office from Scarborough to Downtown Markham; a vibrant and walkable city with an emerging community. The building houses over 1,500 Aviva employees and is conveniently located next to several major highways and transit options. The space is a LEED certified green building, promoting an eco-friendly, future-focused, and positive working environment.
Symtech was responsible for doing an 8 floor fit out of the building. This includes the installation of new lighting, lighting controls, new panels, generators, and a highly reliable UPS system.
