College Park is a stunning 35,932 square foot building and combined-use space, acting as a shopping mall, residential area, and an office complex. This architectural and historical landmark is located at the southwest corner of Yonge Street and College Street, at the heart of downtown Toronto.
In collaboration with our partners Smith & Andersen and Colliers, we worked to decommission six existing substations and replace them with new and improved versions. This replacement gave the historical landmark a new life by mitigating the risk of operating dated substations for both guests and residents.
Symtech was responsible for the installation of temporary power sources before decommissioning and replacing existing substations. The temporary power sources ensured that the impact of construction was minimized for the residents and the operating businesses.
