This 6-storey purpose-built rental development was the perfect addition to Hamilton’s Centremount neighborhood. This spacious residential and commercial building is equipped with 260 suites and over 6,000 square feet of retail space. Residents are offered a vibrant and connected living experience, with convenient access to downtown Hamilton and a wide variety of onsite amenities. This development was designed with the pursuit of a LEED designation in mind. This influenced the implementation of sustainable features like the green roof and geothermal heating & cooling systems.
This development was constructed in collaboration with The Hi-Rise Group and Ingenuity Development Inc., with Symtech providing design assistance to improve constructability, achieve high efficiency, and cost savings.
Symtech was responsible for the installation of all electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, lighting controls, and fire alarms. Symtech also planned, installed, and commissioned communication systems and a comprehensive security system covering all common areas, parking, elevators, and the building perimeter. All mechanical aspects of the project including plumbing, HVAC, and BAS were also completed by Symtech.
