Toronto Eaton Centre Nordstrom Redevelopment

General Contractor: PCL Constructors Canada Inc.

This project redeveloped the Toronto Eaton Centre’s former Nordstrom store into space for three new and iconic brands:

  • Simons: An 110,000 square foot storefront, the first downtown Toronto location of this beloved Canadian fashion retailer.
  • Eataly: The fourth Canadian outpost of the world-renowned Italian marketplace, making Toronto the only city in North America with four Eataly locations.
  • Nike: A two-level flagship store, which was relocated from level 1 to a prime 18,000 square foot space at Trinity Way.

Our team was responsible for key elements of the project, including the overall redevelopment (Design Assist), the Simons flagship (Tender), and the Eataly location (Design Assist). This transformation was facilitated by Symtech and its outstanding group of partners:

  • Developer – Cadillac Fairview
  • General Contractor (Overall) – PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
  • General Contractor (Simons) – Reliance Construction
  • General Contractor (Eataly) – Govan Brown
  • Consultant – The HIDI Group
