Senior Manager, Technology Services

POSITON OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the COO, the Senior Manager, Technology Services is accountable for end-to-end ownership of technology initiatives and the Microsoft enterprise environment across Symtech. This role leads the planning, execution, governance, and adoption of technology platforms, systems, and employee-facing programs, ensuring they align with business priorities, security requirements, and operational needs.

This role serves as the primary technology execution and decision owner, reducing day-to-day escalations to executive leadership while ensuring consistent standards, risk management, and successful delivery. The Senior Manager, Technology Services is expected to be hands-on, proactive, and decisive, with the ability to operate independently across multiple initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a deep understanding of Symtech’s operations to make informed, business-aligned technology decisions
• Act as the primary owner for technology project execution, escalating only material risks, budget exceptions, or strategic decisions
• Establish and enforce standards related to systems usage, automation, AI, security, and data governance
• Own and manage the Microsoft ecosystem including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Automate, and Azure services
• Design, implement, and optimize workflows, automation, AI agents, and collaboration tools
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with operational requirements
• Lead end-to-end technology initiatives including planning, scheduling, execution, testing, deployment, and close-out
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, IT staff, vendors, and external partners to meet milestones
• Track and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs)
• Coordinate UAT, testing cycles, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement
• Own training, rollout, and change-management strategies for new systems and tools
• Ensure adoption, usage, and business value realization
• Incorporate cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance considerations into all initiatives
• Lead responsible AI initiatives including governance and AIDA-compliant practices
• Support budget planning, cost optimization, and vendor oversight for assigned initiatives
• Deliver concise, decision-ready updates to leadership and stakeholders

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7-10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology initiatives
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Copilot, Power Automate, and Azure
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities
