This world-class aquarium houses over 45 interactive exhibits and acts as a place of learning and exploration for families everywhere. Located at the base of the CN Tower, this $130 million project and tourist attraction depicts marine and freshwater habitats from all around the world. This project is valued at over $130 million and is 135,000 square feet, with over 1.5 million gallons of water within the entire aquarium.
Symtech was responsible for the installation of the complete electrical, audio/visual, and data systems within this unique facility. Our team installed state-of-the-art efficient LED lighting systems, complex lighting control systems, life support systems for inhabitants, backup systems, and a 750 KW emergency generator. All electrical systems in close proximity of moisture were designed with non corrosive stainless steel and plastics. 300,000 feet of conduit and 800,000 feet of wire was installed to keep this facility powered.
