Symtech is proud to announce that we have been chosen as the Design Assist Electrical & Mechanical Contractor for the redevelopment project of Amica Balmoral.
In support of Owner – Amica Senior Lifestyles, General Contractor – Amico Affiliates, and Consultant – EXP, we will construct a 13-storey retirement residence at 155 Balmoral Avenue in Toronto's Deer Park neighborhood. This endeavor will replace the original 3-storey facility with a state-of-the-art, luxurious living space designed for seniors.
The new Amica Balmoral will feature 147 luxury suites with unprecedented service delivery, prestigious and well-appointed amenities on each floor, and also valet service. This comprehensive arrangement will provide residents with a diverse range of care options, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
With a strong focus on fostering an environment that provides for 'aging-in-place,' the project offers an unparalleled solution for seniors in urban Toronto.
Symtech will be responsible for all electrical work, including power distribution, emergency power, high-efficient lighting, lighting controls, security systems, and fire alarms, as well as all communication systems, including copper cabling, fibre infrastructure, and wireless access points. Symtech will also be responsible for all mechanical work, including plumbing, HVAC, and BAS.
