Symtech is proud to have been awarded the Electrical Contract for the BMO Field Renovations.
Located at Exhibition Place in Toronto, this outdoor stadium will be transformed into the Toronto Stadium, a state-of-the-art venue set to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The expansion will increase capacity to 45,000, with 10,000 temporary seats added to the north grandstand and 7,000 seats to the south grandstand. Player locker rooms and broadcast infrastructure will also be upgraded to meet FIFA’s world-class standards.

Symtech is involved in two separate phases of this project. During the first phase, our team renovated all existing suites, constructed new kitchens, and completed demolition work to make way for the new north expansion suites. These upgrades included new lighting, fire alarms, updated power requirements, and power/communications for four new broadcasting video boards. During the second phase, Symtech is responsible for updating all communication systems, which involves running new raceways & power and installing new communications cabling.
