The renovations focused heavily on the concourse level, ground floor, and additional building levels, totaling up to 100,000 square feet of redevelopment. The purpose of the renovations was to redesign the concourse level to separate electrical services for the future demolition of existing buildings. In addition, the redevelopment of the existing public and commercial areas significantly improved the pedestrian experience by reducing the daily foot traffic congestion.
Symtech was responsible for decommissioning the original high voltage electrical room and replacing it with an improved version. In addition, Symtech provided all electrical systems, such as power distribution, emergency power, high efficient lighting, lighting controls, fire alarms, security systems, network systems, and paging systems. Aside from Electrical work, our team completed the extensive renovations, including demolitions and system installations, all while the tenants were occupying the building.
