The Clarkson Community Centre is a 18,000 sq. ft. facility that is home to the Clarkson Branch Library and Clarkson Arena. This community centre is an important focal point of civic life in southwest Mississauga and a much-needed venue for new community programs.
The building’s revitalization and expansion included the following upgrades: a 25-metre lap pool, leisure basin, pool area heat recovery, CFC- and HCFC-free cooling equipment, water-conserving bathroom fixtures, modulated passive daylighting, and a new lobby to join the aquatics hall.
Symtech was responsible for all electrical upgrades, including power, lighting, fire alarm systems, security systems, electrical distribution, and grounding.
