Yonge Eglinton Centre is a popular mixed-use office complex and destination for shopping and dining. Located in the heart of Midtown Toronto, this 750,000 square foot space is comprised of two office towers, a 3-storey shopping mall, a grocery store, and a multi-screen cinema.
This $100 million redevelopment added 3 levels to the Centre, amounting to 40,000 square feet of extra retail space. The two office towers which stood at 22- and 30-storeys were given 5 and 7 additional storeys, bringing their final heights to 27- and 37-storeys.
Symtech was responsible for the supply and installation of all electrical systems, including new LED lighting throughout the common areas, infrastructure for complex media signage, fire alarms, and P.A. systems. This state of the art LED lighting was installed in the new retail expansion space and the exterior glass walls which illuminate during evening hours.
