Toronto Reference Library

General Contractor: Eastern Construction Company

The revitalization of the Toronto Reference Library was designed to better serve the community and serve as Toronto’s foremost public center for lifelong learning. This $60 million project was funded by the City of Toronto, the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada, and the Toronto Public Library Foundation’s revitalize campaign.

The renovation of this 200,000 square foot facility was completed in three phases, in collaboration with Eastern Construction Company.

Symtech was responsible for all electrical renovations, including lighting and power layout across the existing 5 floors.
