Symtech is thrilled to announce that we have been chosen as the Design Assist Electrical & Mechanical Contractor for the redevelopment of the former Nordstrom space at Toronto Eaton Centre.
This transformative project will introduce three iconic brands to North America's busiest shopping destination, with grand openings scheduled for 2025:
- Simons: A new 110,000 sq. ft. flagship storefront, marking the first downtown Toronto location of this beloved Canadian fashion retailer.
- Eataly: The fourth Canadian outpost of the world-renowned Italian marketplace, making Toronto the only city in North America with four Eataly locations.
- Nike: A new two-level flagship store, relocating from level 1 of the centre to a prime 18,000 sq. ft. space at Trinity Way.
We are proud to collaborate with our partners, Developer – Cadillac Fairview, General Contractor – PCL Constructors Canada Inc., & Consultant – The HIDI Group, to help bring this vision to life.
Symtech will be responsible for all electrical work, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, lighting controls, security systems, etc., as well as all communication systems, including copper cabling, fibre infrastructure, etc. Additionally, we will handle all mechanical work, including plumbing, HVAC, etc.
