Spectrum Square, Mississauga ON

Spectrum Square located in Mississauga in close proximity to all major highways in the GTA. The project entails the construction of a 6-storey office building (no basement, surface parking only), constructed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.

The building consists of a cast-in-place concrete structure on caissons. The envelope generally consists of curtain wall with a combination of metal panels, brick, and stone. All office areas have raised access flooring with underfloor mechanical and electrical systems. Individually controlled ventilation,operable windows, interior automated light shelves and exterior sunshades are part of the sustainable features included in the scope.

This 1.3-million-square-foot complex with a six-building “restaurant campus” and plaza is nestled against Mississauga’s planned Bus Rapid Transit corridor on Eglinton Avenue West.

Some of the building amenities include: over 60,000 sg.ft. of trendy restaurants onsite (Starbucks, Subway, Teriyaki Experience, Veloce Italian Grill, Carl’s Jr.), a fitness centre, a daycare, parks and more.

Symtech Innovations Ltd. was selected as the electrical contractor for this new office building.
