Intuit Canada has announced its expansion to Toronto’s downtown core, with the opening of a 250-employee corporate headquarters located at The Well, Building G, Levels 16-19. Intuit Canada is a leading provider of business, financial, and tax management solutions for small- and mid-sized businesses, consumers, and accounting professionals, and is consistently recognized as an employer of choice. The office space at The Well will act as the development’s anchor and gateway to the shops, residences, and businesses, as well as the King West District. The landmark building will include an offset core for a host of planning scenarios and will spread over 1 million square feet of office space.
This new office space tenant fit-out offers best-in-class, sophisticated workplace solutions. Registered under the LEED green building rating system and targeting a LEED Platinum certification, this office space can accommodate the evolving needs of today’s office users.
Intuit’s tenant fit-out will include a large outdoor space, with the terrace looking out on the 19th floor, equipped with outdoor heaters, and a green roof with an abundance of greenery. This office space will also include The Pub, a coffee bar, games rooms, huddle spaces, commercial kitchens, libraries, reflection rooms, a Think Tank, a Delight Studio, and drop-in workspaces to accommodate the different needs of employees.
Symtech will be responsible for completing the 3-storey tenant fit-out, which includes all Electrical (Symtech will be utilizing in-wall prefabrication assemblies built in-house at our Symtech main office) and Communications Systems and Networks. Symtech will also plan, procure, execute, and commission all Smart (ACMS, VMS, Intercom, Lighting Control and Management including, vacancy sensors and daylight harvesting) systems, life safety systems, emergency power systems, base building fire alarm systems, and metering systems.
