Description:
The 12-storey, 350,000 square foot building on Birchmount Avenue just to the north of Highway 407 will be mostly taken by Aviva, while other square footage remains to be leased in the building. The new building will be housing more than 1,500 people. Designed by Quadrangle Architects, the building is being targeted to achieve LEED Silver certification. The building will be used for students from McMaster University, Mohawk College as well as visiting academics.
Symtech’s project scope will be complete fit up of new space – 8 floor fit out; lighting (various) and lighting control; new panels, generator and UPS.
